About Megan Ann Vergara Mendoza, M.D.
I am a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist practicing in New York City. I offer both psychotherapy and thoughtful medication management, and work with patients to carefully determine if either or both makes sense for their needs. I aim to make treatment approachable, collaborative, and person-centered with a warm, supportive, and safe space for individuals to discuss what they may be struggling with. While I have been trained in a variety of evidence-based practices, including cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic therapy, I believe that flexibility and an ability to integrate theoretical frameworks is important to personalize treatment and meet both short- and long-term goals together. I welcome individuals of all backgrounds, identities, and abilities, and am currently seeing patients in person, virtually, and in a hybrid model to accommodate the ever-changing needs of our world.
If you are interested in working together, please call the Weill Cornell Specialty Center at 646-962-2820 to request a consultation with me.
